Students will be assigned to teams of 3-4 people representing both universities. They will work on a joint research project in the area of Business Ethics and Organizational Behavior by selecting an internationally acting company or industry with a market presence in both Germany and the USA. The final deliverable will be a 10-15 minute video recorded presentation in which each team member participates.

Throughout the teamwork phase, teams hold Zoom meetings to plan how to research their topic. They hold check-in meetings with their instructors to discuss initial findings and aspect of their topic they want to study in greater detail. They also get organizational assistance from the TAVEC administrative team.

Project teams will analyze how international companies should navigate the challenge of different cultural environments. They explore areas such as 

• Business culture and values
• The impact of societal values on business
• The role of business in society
• Justice and equality
• Human Rights issues in the workplace
• Legal frameworks regarding working conditions
• The societal impacts of digitalisation

Students examine company operations, supply chains and markets and analyse the personal (micro), company (meso), and societal (macro) levels.
