Startup Ecosystems are a global trend, but they differ in international comparison. While in the Anglo-American area the focus is on the personality of the founders, in the German-speaking area, start-up research tends to focus on the investigation of the entrepreneurial idea and its implementation within the business model.
Student groups will examine these differences in German and US perspectives on entrepreneurship and further analyze and interpret the importance and role of leadership personalities in company start-ups. Student groups work together to better understand the two different perspectives and then apply those perspectives in their research area. In particular, the study focuses on recent findings in the field of digital leadership, which examines how the growing digitization is being taken into account in the development of leadership personalities.
